I’ve enjoyed my first year at the Club so much!  The atmosphere is great and everyone has been so friendly and welcoming.  I’m mainly playing tennis and it has been such an awesome experience from the coaches, to the programs, league, socials and just meeting all the other wonderful tennis members.  Over the past year I’ve made some lovely new friends  and I’m looking forward to enjoying more of their wonderful company and spending time at club for years to come.  So glad I made the decision to join!

I was lucky to have grown up as a member of the NSWC and feel very fortunate to offer that same experience to my kids.  Our boys started with cookie monsters and have continued to play rep hockey for 10+ years.  My husband is actively involved in the senior men’s hockey league and I play tennis three or more times a week, both recreationally, as well as participating in competitive league play and tournaments.  Joining the North Shore Winter Club was definitely one of the best investments we have made for our family.  The club is a great community to raise a family within.  The friendships we’ve made here, during all of our activities, will last a lifetime.

We joined the NSWC 13 years ago when our son was 4 years old in order to get him involved in hockey. Our son continues to play hockey at the Club and we have been very involved in many of the Club activities, including the Marlins Swim Team, senior men’s hockey, fitness, and tennis. I started as a very beginner tennis player and have been able to up my game due to the huge array of lessons offered by a great coaching staff, as well as from a great variety of recreational, social, and competitive tennis events and activities. Reflecting over the past 13 years, I would have to say that the BEST thing for us about the NSWC is all the great people we have met and the many good friends we have made.

I have been working out at the NSWC gym for almost five years, and have seen a few iterations of the equipment and personnel. It has never been as good as it is now. I feel like my physical condition has improved immensely. Playing tennis 10 to 20 hours a week at 66 years old isn’t easy, but my workouts keep my body in the best form to handle it.
