Brad Rihela has coached in the CSSHL, PJHL, BCHL, and PCAHA over the course of the past decade. He spent two years as Head Coach and Assistant General Manager of the Aldergrove Kodiaks, winning a League Championship in 2013 and being awarded PJHL Coach of the Year in 2014. He later spent three years at the Yale Hockey Academy, guiding their Bantam Prep Team to a CSSHL League Championship, a John Reid Memorial Tournament Championship, as well as a Rocky Mountain Classic Tournament Championship. During his short tenure, Brad saw more than thirty players drafted to the WHL as well as two players receiving NCAA Divisions I Scholarships.
As a player, Brad grew up playing in the Aldergrove Minor Hockey Association before playing four years of junior hockey in the PJHL and BCHL. He was list property of the Prince George Cougars for three years during that span.
Currently, Brad is the Director of Player Personnel for the defending National Champion Chilliwack Chiefs as well as the Head Coach of the Inaugural NSWC Bantam Elite Hockey Program. Brad is a HP1 certified coach and is extremely excited for the opportunity to be working at the NSWC.
