Our NSWC U13 A1 girls team is off to the prestigious Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament. They are the first all-girls team from Western Canada to go compete in the tournament. What an accomplishment and what is even ore incredible is that this group has been playing together for the last 6 years, all under the leadership of NSWC Development Coach, Karen Kos.

The growth of Female Hockey has come a long way over the years, and we are incredibly proud of this group of young ladies for being trailblazers themselves.

In Quebec, the Winterhawks will play among 120 teams in total, from 18 countries including Canada, the US, France, Englad and Switzerland. The girls will play their first exhibition games February 7 and 8 against Quebec and top-contender Little Caesars from the United States. Regular tournament games run Feb. 9 – 18.
