Position Summary:
Join our vibrant team as a Housekeeper! You’ll be our cleanliness champion, ensuring our facility sparkles. Work with the Facilities Crew on maintenance and repairs (we’ll train you!), and support all club departments to keep everything looking top-notch. If you love teamwork and take pride in a pristine environment, this is the role for you. Become a key player in delivering our members an exceptional experience keeping our club fabulous!
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all facility spaces are cared for and inspected according to the high standards set by management
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and polishing
- Follow checklists of routine duties; inspect rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness, maintenance and set-up standards, as well as to verify status
- Assist Member Services department with event set up and tear down, as required
- Effectively communicate with the team members and Front Desk staff via 2-way radio in a timely manner
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace as required
- Notify supervisor(s) of any facility damage, deficits or concerns
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety, and be aware of all company-related processes and practices
- Additional duties as required
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to safely lift 30 lbs.
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly; comfortable working in a public setting
- Good communication skills; fluent in both spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests and employees; able to resolve complaints quickly and efficiently
- Walking and standing are required; housekeepers must be able to maintain a well-paced mobility to promptly reach other departments within the facility
- Current work visa and SIN
