The ice plant upgrade is on schedule and moving along nicely. In addition to the project scope, we have also been able to make a number of safety and efficiency improvements with the system along the way. Between the Fraser Valley Refrigeration Team and our NSWC staff, the whole project has gone very smoothly. The rink itself has seen a few repairs and alterations including the rebuilding and the installation of brackets along a section of the home bench boards for improved stability. New sand has been spread onto the floor a brand new center ice logo is ready for install. We expect to start the new equipment for initial testing Wednesday and hope to be making ice as early as next week. Check out the Before and After pictures below.
