Dear Membership,

We are now officially in Phase 2 of our re-opening plan and on behalf of the NSWC, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for doing your part in our re-opening and following our rules. It takes everyone in our Club working together to be able to operate efficiently and effectively (especially during these crazy times). I appreciate your patience as we navigate through the different phases of re-opening our ice rinks.

In Phase 2, we are happy to be offering ice rentals as a new option for members. There is still private lesson, programming and Open Hockey options available. In this email we will be covering how to book Private Member Ice Rentals (Paid) only.

Note: The below pertains to July 6 – Aug 2 ice only. Once all August ice slots are confirmed, we will send out the remaining ice rental options for August.

Private Member Rentals

Note: Phase Two will allow supervision by a coach OR a parent for groups of a trusted cohort/pod.    In phase two, if you choose, you will be able to book ice and one of our approved development instructors.  Adding an instructor will be completely optional. ($130 for a coach)

• Small/HTC: Up to 6 skaters + 1 goalie total + 1 adult or coach
• Large Ice: Up to 10 skaters + 2 goalies + 1 adult or coach
• Must have one adult supervising (on/off ice) should players be under the age of 16.
• Any coach used must be on our Development Team or approved by the Hockey Department. Click HERE for our coach list.
• No physical contact or battling allowed; strict physical distancing is in effect
• Minimum of 4 bookings to be considered.

Cost:

• Small/HTC: $100 per hour
• Large: $150 per hour

Cancellation Policy:

• No Refunds issued within 48 hours

How To Book Ice:

Click HERE to view the available ice slots for rental (Under “Member Ice Rental Options – Summer 2020”). Please indicate your desired ice times by writing YOUR name in the box beside the ice times.
You must send your filled out spreadsheet to Emily Allen at eallen@nswc.ca
The document MUST be saved and sent as follows: “Last Name, First Name – Ice Rental Requests” (or it will not be considered).

Please submit your ice rental requests to Emily Allen by Friday June 26 at 12pm. Emily will confirm your bookings via email and invoice by end of day on Thursday July 2.

A reminder that we will be offering several open hockey slots per day as well. These can only be booked 4 days in advance. The member ice rental option allows members to book into ice slots for a month at a time.
